23 SEPTEMBER 2006

I met Jessica to pick up the puppies. While I had them they got a bath, as they had managed to poop all over themselves on the way to me; we had a very stinky ride home!! They were here a few hours, had lunch, played, and I took a few pics while waiting to meet Marybeth. They are SO cute, cuddly, & busy. They are very good puppies and someone will be very lucky to adopt them.

Chipper had a very busy day patrolling puppies, kissing (& slobbering on) Jessica's kids, attending canine good citizen class and then kissing & kissing & kissing! his foster mom, Marybeth!!! He is now exhausted and sleeping on the couch! Life is tough.

At a rest stop tonight, a state patrolman came over and I tried to convince him that he should adopt a Cairn. He thought they were so cute.

If Bj had been there she would have sold him 300 raffle tickets and probably convinced him to let her drive the patrol car around the parking lot with the lights flashing!

As usual, Tobi - perfect pictures!

Thanks to Jessica for picking up the dogs and keeping them for two nights and to Tobi for being willing to watch them today until we could meet this evening.

The pups had a great trip to their new foster home and were a BIG surprise to my husband. Seems I "forgot" to tell him they were coming. I joked that it's kind of like women who have to hide things in their closets and then bring them out and say, "Oh, I've had this shirt for months!" Well I do that with new fosters: "What? This old thing? We've had this Cairn for weeks!" I don't think he bought it! LOL Thank god he loves Cairns and has a good sense of humor!
