OLLIE IS GOING HOME!
4-6 NOVEMBER 2006 | |

My new parents are huge Green Bay Packer fans . . .
|
Checking out the back side. |
Don't worry! We had people around the front to watch and grab Ollie. The parking lot has a chain link fence also. I would never have left him without holding on if I did not think it was safe. All ten or so Packer Pro shop employees were ooooing and ahhhing over Ollie. They would not let anything happen to him!

On 4 November, Lisa tells us:
We have wonderful news to share! Ollie will be going to his forever home this week. Although he has only been with us for a month and a half, he has wiggled his little sweet disposition into everyone's heart in this family.
He plays hard and sleeps hard. He has been walking our daily three-mile jaunt. Or I should say runs it while Emma, Tristen and I walk it! He plays hard with Emma and tries to play with the old frumpy Tristen, but Tristen doesn't like the little rugrats hanging on his beautiful coat.
And on 6 November . . .
Ollie is leaving us tomorrow. He has been an absolute joy to have fostered. It is hard on all of us. Todd keeps saying, "They can't have him. He is staying here with us." Of course he is kidding, in part; the other part, he is not.

Ollie knows there is something going on. It is not every day in a Cairn Terrier puppy's life that he gets to put his bone, bed & toy in a suitcase. |
I found some tasty treats in here too! |
We took a vote and decided that if an excellent application comes in, he needs to go to it. If not, he is staying! My daughter's vote was to keep him!! The application came in . . . and now we have to say goodbye.
We are getting our last snuggles tonight. And he is enjoying the wet salty water coming from my eyes.
Be good, Little One. There will always be a part of you in each of our hearts. And we will never forget you.
All of our love,
