Pat Bernard writes:
Oliver had a great first day. Although on the small side, he has a well-developed prey drive, pack instinct and early-warning signal - he growls & barks and will chase. He's not shy, but not pushy either. He eats well and I am hopeful that he will understand "going" outside rather than playing outside for hours and then doing his business in his crate. He likes small children, walks in the front yard, and sticks & stones.
He had a great first night - we only went out twice and he peed both times. Of course, he also peed & pooped in his crate. He isn't fussy and so far does not make too much noise if he is awake.
This morning Oliver stole Chloe's tennis ball and ran around with it in his mouth! Chloe would like to know when the usurper is going away.
