Treatment of heartworm is not a simple thing - it is LONG, serious & EXPENSIVE. Devlin has his first appointment tomorrow at Washington State University's Vet Hospital - where the head of the cardiology department will begin his care.
First, Devlin must take 30 days of antibiotics and then he will begin treatment to kill the worms. |

After Devlin's first injection with Immiticide - he must not have ANY activity for 30 days. Then he will receive his second injection - followed by another 30 days of rest. He cannot even walk up or down the stairs on his own as it is too big a risk.

We have really fallen in love with Devlin and he is an absolute doll. He has the cutest, funniest, goofy personality!
