CAPER IS IN WISCONSIN

15 OCTOBER 2011

Pam Simpson writes:

Caper is a smart little cookie.
She went down the steps to the landing.
She wanted outside to potty!

She is gorgeous, even without a proper grooming.
Harley was fine; Molly wanted her to play, so that is great.

She is very sweet and so much wants to trust us,
but she has been trying to get back outside,
where she thinks she is supposed to be.
Part of the back yard is chain link fencing.
She kept pacing back & forth, back & forth in about a 6' area.
I'll bet that is the size of the kennel she was in;
she would turn at exactly where the ends would be.

She is going to be gorgeous
when she gets groomed
and her hair grows out a little.
She is such a little peanut!

I think the dogs will have her running with them in a couple of weeks.
She sure was comfortable with your pack,
like she had been with them for a long time!
That is a good thing.

Right now she is resting for bits of time in her crate.
It is open for her to go in & come out as she wants.
Not sure what we will do this evening,
but am not sure I will be sleeping a lot.

Later that evening:

She is resting, and probably sleeping,
but wakes up every time she hears a noise (of course).
She is in the kitchen in her crate, with the door open.
She has food & water in there.
In a couple of weeks we will probably see a different dog.

She was in the back yard with our two.
The neighbor's dogs were out.
She did NOT like Clyde; she growled and got low at him.
She is not a chicken. So I hope she can rest well tonight.
Today was a busy day for her. She wants to go outside,
where she has been for four years.
I told her those days are over; she lives in a house now.
Hopefully she is listening!
