MURPHY GOES HOME! 14 APRIL 2013
Shell Lewis writes: Back in 2010, Marcia Schaller & Steve Shade of Indiana adopted owner-surrendered Cooper. Marcia recently contacted me, saying she was interested in adopting again; I told her I would keep my eyes & ears open. But when she read about Murphy in the latest edition of CARIN' FOR CAIRNS, she instinctively knew that she had found her next Cairn.
Today, Murphy's foster mom, Ruth Reed of Michigan, drove to Ann Arbor, where Jim, Skippy, Molly & I were attending a dog show, to hand off Murphy so we could drive him to his new family on our way home. We are so grateful to Ruth & her husband for the tremendous job they did with Murphy. We know when Murphy drove off with us today, a little piece of Ruth's heart left with him.
	Murphy was the perfect gentleman on the three-hour trip to Michigan City, Indiana where we were meeting Marcia & Steve. Once we arrived and the couple got a glimpse of Murphy, it was evident that it was "love at first sight". Marcia meets Murphy for first time
