THE COMPUTER WORK
My favorite part . . .
First, of course, we sent out email invitations to all CRUSA list members, all Cairn folks I have in my address book, all members of Terrier-L, Canine-L & ADTlovershome-L, on the theory that this would reach as many CairnFolks as possible. We urged pre-registration, so we would have an idea of how many to expect . . . food & drink supplies and Welcome Packets & Goodie Bags would be contingent on numbers pre-registered, naturally.
When registration payments arrived, I sent out MWCF07 Tickets to be printed out and brought with:

Every human & every dog registered had his/her name entered in the Door Prize Drawing or the Doggie Door Prize Drawing:

Pam made bandanas for each dog,
showing in which of three categories it belonged,
and I made a label for each dog, showing
to whom it belonged and what state it lived in:

. . . and we stapled a label to each bandana
(unfortunately, most of these labels were removed from the bandanas, so that's one thing we won't have to do for MIDWEST CAIRNFEST 2008).

Also, every dog's person received this paper to hand to MC CairnDaddy during The Promenade to have each dog announced from The Podium . . .
