THE EVENT SUNDAY, 7 SEPTEMBER This year, Volunteers pre-registered . . . and we planned to meet at PPU on Sunday, 9 a.m. A Listing of all who volunteered is HERE First, of course, all the boxes from our living room, dining room & basement had to be brought outside, loaded in various vehicles, and brought to PPU. Luckily for us, PPU is only about a five-minute drive from our house, so if we had to make two trips, no worries. First, we filled up my Hyundai Wagon . . . . . . barely managing to close the hatch. Photo Courtesy AD Then, we filled CairnDaddy's Aztek . . . . . . and we still had all this and more to go. Obviously, we'd need to make two trips. But wait! Who's that, coming down the street, so silently in her (empty) Toyota Hybrid . . . . . . it's Mary Brabender, come to save us a trip . . . . . . so we fill up the Toyota and off we trek across town to PPU for a day filled with dogs, people & fun!
