DOS LECHES-NOG CAKE

(A VARIATION OF THE
TRES LECHES CAKE)

As we liked both the TRES LECHES CAKE and
the EGG NOG PUDDING CAKE so much,
I had the idea to combine the two and to
call it DOS LECHES-NOG CAKE, at Neal's suggestion.

Due to circumstances beyond my control . . .
and the energy expended on putting up a few decorations
for the Howliday Season AND creating the
HOWLIDAY CARDS 2022 website (which can be seen HERE),
I didn't get to this until January, so it is more of a New Year Cake
than a Holiday Cake. But no matter; Neal had purchased enough
eggnog to last us thru the month.

I've not added pics of the process;
it is the same as the TRES LECHES CAKE,
except for modifications added to the recipe below.

For those who prefer RUM in their eggnog,
you can, of course, substitute that for the Southern Comfort™
Or use no alcohol at all, which is also in the recipe.

Several months ago, I purchased an immersion blender . . .

IMMERSION

. . . I finally used it today to make the milk mixture.
Worked great!


15 JANUARY ADDENDUM

The taste was, as before, very good. However, I can't say
that either the eggnog or the Southern Comfort™ taste were . . .
well, tastable. Next Howliday Season, I'll do some more experimenting.
