FRUIT CUSTARD

I still had fresh berries left (you can only eat so many fresh berries),
so I made this fruit custard again . . .

. . . but I cut the recipe in half, as only Neal & I are eating all these creations.

I didn't use the chocolate layer last time
(photos above are from the video);
I just mixed some up and splashed it on sparingly.
I don't believe that slathering chocolate on something always improves it,
and even the little I put on tasted wrong to both of us.

This time, no apple or grapes; I used blackberries,
strawberries, blueberries, raspberries & cantaloupe . . .

NTS: Do not use granite countertop for photo shoot background!

. . . and then, like the Grinch, I had a wonderful idea . . .
I still had one bar of Lindt white chocolate, so I melted it,
added the sour cream, and poured it over the custard . . .

I think the white chocolate won't dominate the flavor
as did the milk/bittersweet mix chocolate.
