TOLL HOUSE® PIE 13 FEBRUARY 2023
For those of us who like the taste of Toll House® cookies, but not the fuss and muss of making the actual cookies, I have JUST the recipe for you . . . . . . same ingredients, same great taste, just in a different form. Mixing station . . . Pour it into the premade deep dish pie crust . . . (I think I mis-measured the melted butter, so I tossed in a bit more flour.) One problem I did have was that because there is so much butter, which then soaked thru the pie crust, it stuck to the pie tin. Still tastes just as good, tho, sez Taste Tester #1, who had requested this pie. Into the oven with you! . . . . . . and a delicious pie comes out . . .
This is what it looks like on the inside . . .	Serve with whipped or ice cream. I saw several pics with chocolate added on the pie or the plate; that seems like chocolate overkill to me. Oh yes, BTW . . . I DO agree with Calvin above, and sometimes take the risk.
