Anyone who knows me for longer than, say, five seconds,
knows that I. LOVE. GLITTER . . .

GLITTER!

. . . on my nails, sprayed in my hair and on my clothes,
and now, on cakes & mousses that I make.

To paraphrase Paris Hilton - of all people:
Some [women] are just born with glitter in their veins.

Of course when I was born, glitter hadn't been invented yet,
but for many years now, I've been making up for lost time.

So when I saw how lovely the pink edible glitter looked,
I purchased a variety pack
(not that I'd ever get tired of pink glitter, but still) . . .

GLITTER!

I made STRAWBERRY MOUSSE #1,
with the OREO™ base from the
STRAWBERRY MOUSSE #2

GLITTER!

GLITTER!-

GLITTER!-

GLITTER!-

GLITTER!-

Then I had the [what I thought] brilliant idea to put some of the
OREO™ crumbs on top . . .

GLITTER!-

. . . which actually was NOT a good idea
to combine with the new glitters . . .

GLITTER!-

It was so bad, the entire pic went out of focus . . .

GLITTER!-

The ONLY good thing about this set of glitters
is that the bottles had sprinkler caps . . .

GLITTER!-

. . . which were a PITA to open up.

And another color that made the pic go out of focus . . .

GLITTER!-

. . . but the bit that ended up on the table shmeared all over
the table and my hand when I tried to wipe it off dry.
Which tells me this is DUST or POWDER, not GLITTER.

GLITTER!-

The day before, I used the GOLD on this STRAWBERRY MOUSSE,
and it looked rather nice . . .

GLITTER!-

. . . which is why I was so disappointed with the other colors.

So, did this disappointment discourage me from trying again?
Of course not! This should arrive today . . .

GLITTER!-
