"Cold" weather came to Florida,
Mixing station #1 . . .
The apple peeling machine is very convenient . . .
I suddenly realized that maybe dicing apples
Oh well, too late now!
Sugar for apple coating;
SPOILER ALERT: This did not affect the taste at all;
I only wish I'd doubled the amount of cinnamon . . .
Brown sugar for dolloping . . .
. . . altho it seemed to me to be too liquid to dollop . . .
. . . however, I checked the original recipe;
Sifted flour for the cake batter . . .
. . . as well as sugar & baking powder . .
. . . and eggs & milk . . .
The canola oil was mixed in after these.
Mixing station #2 . . .
Fortunately, I again looked over my recipe
Apples mixed into batter . . .
. . . and spooned (rather than poured) into baking pan . . .
This looks like potatoes drowning in gravy,
Into the oven it went, for 43 minutes.
Out of the oven . . .
Sifted powdered sugar for icing . . .
Unlike the brown sugar/cinnamon mix,
I'd used whipping cream instead of milk,
The end result . . .
I had two pieces for dinner.
