VITA GOES HOME 28 FEBRUARY 2016
VITA moved from Kentucky to Pennsylvania, to join her new Mom & Dad, Laura & Jeff Taschner, and her new Cairn brother, CRUSA Rescue Baxter.
BJ writes: We got in the Cairn Mobile; VITA looked out and was excited. The farther away we got, she shook some. Rudy & I told her again and again what was going on: She was meeting Uncle Mark.

I love you, Mark & Susie!  Mark, VITA & Laura No more havin' puppies under a porch for her!  Jeff, Laura & VITA Laura writes: At the Columbus exit today picking up VITA. She was a real trooper coming all the way from Richmond, Kentucky.
Thanks to everyone from Cairn Rescue USA who made this adoption possible, especially Andréa (website), Mark (transporter) & BJ for taking such good care of her and her pups. She's had a rough start, but she is a Taschner Terrier now. Nothing but good things lie ahead.
 Baxter & VITA It was a pretty day. Everything went well. VITA is adjusting well with Baxter; they are becoming close friends. The same day we picked her up, the Rainbow Bridge edition of CARIN' FOR CAIRNS came out with our beloved Sadie in it. I know she was looking down yesterday and smiling. BETTE BOYERS:  PAWSOME BETSI GREENE:  Wonderful! MAUREEN SCOTT: Lovely news for this girl! MARILYN ROYLE: Such wonderful news! Congratulations to Jeff, Laura, Baxter & VITA! So much happiness . . . it is wonderful to see. VIOLETTA ARGUETA: Vita looks really good, BJ; pretty in pink! SHELL LEWIS: She looks amazing. What a great looking family. PERLA CHIAFFITELLA: What a rough life Vita has had but from now on she will be loved and enjoying life as all dogs should, Congrats to all. xox LINDA SAVAGE: She really looks good, BJ. TRACIE COTTON: YAY! She is a cutie, and will now get all the love she deserves! BJ writes: Vita was an amazing girl. Completely housebroken, rang the bell on my door to go out, played great with everyone. She just wanted love and FOOD! She is very, very smart. She sat and learned quickly in waiting for her food. I cried on the way to meet Mark. She is missed.

Shell found us our dear Jazzie who has had some health issues, but is just a joy! She is a quiet girl, doesn't bark much at all. We don't know how old she is (maybe 5-1/2 years when she was rescued in June of 2011). She came up heartworm positive after we had her a year. We treated that and she is a very loving affectionate companion and makes us laugh every day! Here she is saying, Where is my dinner? Here is our beautiful NESSIE; she was a special girl, would play ball until she couldn't run any more, tried to chase birds and squirrels out the windows.
