FIRST YOU ADOPT . . .
. . . THEN WE PUT YOU TO WORK

SUE STOUGHTON, who adopted Gus (see Page 18 HERE), is now CRUSA's Midwest Transport Director. SUE writes:
I am a 'retired' Information Technology Project Manager. Although I don't build software, I still work as a product representative and also teach scrapbooking.
We have a total of three dogs, including Gus. Megan, our senior citizen, is a 15-year-old hound mix that I adopted before I met my husband in 1996. She is a little bigger than the others, but is as loyal as they come and only arthritic when she is asked to do something she doesn't want to do. Our middle girl, Ebony, is a nine-year-old Cairn mix with superior attitude; she came to us through my daughter who had to give her up due to housing restrictions.
My husband is an astronomer who travels occasionally, but is always glad to hurry home to see the 'troops'
I have some experience managing volunteers and have great computer skills. My son, his wife, and my grandchildren live in Peoria so we are actually in your neck of the woods several times a year. We will be there lots this summer, as another grandchild is on the way.
I am about 35 miles west of downtown Chicago. My other two grandchildren are both French Bulldogs, Jacques Pierre & Ruby.
So, I'm in if you need me. Since I know practically no one in the network, it will take a bit for me to get going, but with patience, I'll try my best.
