7 APRIL 2009 OK , LISTEN UP, EVERYONE IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD! THIS HERE'S OUR LI'L BROTHER LOGAN, AND HE'S JUST AS TOUGH & MEAN AS WE ARE! (except for the lavender smell) SO STAY OUTTA OUR YARD, YOU HEAR! 9 APRIL 2009 This morning, Logan swallowed something and was choking . . . the only decent weather we've had all week, so Mike went golfing . . . called the vet and rushed him there where x-rays were taken and spent the day on an IV and a shot for the nausea, and a couple of hours and $325 later . . . it was a small rock he swallowed and it will pass thru his system eventually. What a scare that was for me . . . he is 13 pounds today (give or take for the rocks). 10 APRIL 2009 Took a stool sample to the Vet this morning and they called later to let us know that he indeed had a small rock in the stool, but also hair balls, which was the cause of his choking. Apparently we have found him nibbling at the wool rug in the family room and noticed small pieces missing . . . now we know where they went! He is very sneaky as he plays with the chew toys and then continues to the rug.
