Did I mention my mom is PaparazzA Extraordinaire?!
28 April:
Just an update on our little Logan. Stitches came out yesterday and he was licking the tech assistant & the vet as they were doing it. Got his second Bordetella drops and weighs a whopping 14 pounds 4 ounces. A heavyweight!
9 May:
Of my three Cairns, I have the canine Michael Phelps. I knew Logan liked water, but when I planted flowers in my 20 containers and took out the hose to water them, he not only jumped the hose, but actually got INSIDE the containers to get at the water. What a mess he made, and when I tried to scare him away with the hose, he loved it!
Good think it was hot today as he was soaked, but hysterial to watch. Cannot wait until we open the pool on May 18; will have to get a life jacket for him to wear when he is in the yard.
We are enjoying this little puppy so much, and laughing at everything he does. It was worth the icy trip to Illinois.
HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY TO ALL!
24 May:
After attacking the hose, jumping on the containers of flowers and paddling in his water bowl and then dunking his head in it, Logan made his debut in the pool. Did not have the camera since I did not know Mike was going to take him in. Mike held him until midway and let him go, Michael Phelps, watch out! We really asked for it as he wants to go back in and tries to jump on the steps, so he has to be watched 24/7. Just loves the water, something Kelsey & Dugan never did and still don't do unless we pick them up. He is too much.
I had company from Italy and took the three dogs to the kennel for a few days; they were groomed there (first time from someone besides their groomer), except with Logan she hand-stripped his hair, he looks so cute!
Will send pictures of Logan swimming next time he goes in with Mike. He already knows the word "swimming" and runs to the steps of the pool.
