BRAVEHEART GOES TO THE PARK 29 APRIL 2011
Marti writes: After a couple of weeks of settling in with his foster family, Braveheart took a "day trip" with us to our holistic veterinarian, so Dr. Jody could make some suggestions re: helping Braveheart gain some weight and grow a nice, healthy coat. She checked him over thoroughly and declared him to be in fairly good shape overall, but she did have a number of recommendations re: food supplements, herbs, a probiotic, etc., that she felt would help him feel better and regain his strength.
So, we took home one of everything she suggested! (I hope Braveheart's foster family wasn't too overwhelmed with all the "extras" that Dr. Jody felt would help him to blossom!) Then, before returning Braveheart to his foster family, we decided to stop at the dog park so that we could take some new pictures. It was a beautiful, sunny day and he seemed to really enjoy the sunshine and the fresh air - as he entertained his adoring public (on the other side of the fence), who recognized our famous little "star". Here are a few pictures that we took of Braveheart at the dog park. I think you'll enjoy seeing how much better he is feeling!
