REILLY (f/k/a DERMOT)

Dermot came from the same mill as Donovan. Where Donovan was outgoing & full of confidence, little Dermot was the exact opposite. Dermot also was quite the mess, with long hair which took three hours to wash & comb. He had very bad teeth and severe ear infections. That didn't stop him from wanting to have some fun, though.

Soon he was cleaned up and he looked really great.

After his bath he wanted to get back outside to play and he just ran & ran.

Dermot went to the vet to take care of all his needs. He had to have four teeth pulled and was also put on special medication for his ears & eyes. His vet bill came to $350.

Dermot was happy to move to his new home with his foster-to-adopt mom, Nancy. He loves having the whole place to himself and is really coming out of his shell. One evening he even "protected" Nancy by growling at the mean dog in her bedroom mirror. WOW - what had she ever done without him.
Dermot's name was changed to Reilly. Nancy thought it was fitting; she is really enjoying her time with him.
One more dog spared from the brutal life of a puppy mill to becoming a treasured companion to a happy lady.
