As you can see,
Bonny is located about a seven-hour one-way drive from me;
not a drive I would be able to do. Due to her job and
her mother's ill-health, the owner could not meet me halfway.
I sent out an all-call to everyone in my email list who lives in Florida,
and to several Cairn and Airedale lists. To no avail.
So Jackie Ike swung into action and put out a call on FaceBook . . .
Linda Bell of Airedale Rescue answered!
She was in the Panhandle,
could pick up Bonny to get her to a safe place,
foster her and, on Memorial Day Weekend,
bring her to the Palm Harbor area for fostering.
So, at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, 2 May, Bonny came into CRUSA
and into a home with Airedales . . .
Linda writes:
Just picked up Bonny. She is a pretty girl, nervous but sweet.
Keep fingers crossed she doesn't have a heart attack
when she meets my crew.
They are nice, but noisy.
She has allergies so worry about our big yard.
LOOK!!
So there we are . . . Bonny is no longer being tormented;
she is in the process of getting used to being without her owner of 13 years;
and, unless someone volunteers to bring her from Florida's Panhandle
closer to Tampa, she will stay with Linda until Memorial Day Weekend.
A BIG CRUSA THANK-YOU TO
BJ ISAACS, JACKIE IKE & LINDA BELL!
JACKIE IKE:
Thank you, Linda! So sad 'cause she has no idea what is happening. Always been with her mom . . . now thrown away. Wish we could bring her here sooner, but no one has offered to help with transport.
BJ ISAACS:
Awesome.
NEAL SKRENES:
GREAT! I wondered/worried that she'd have to be tormented for another 30 days.
JACKIE IKE:
She is BEAUTIFUL for 13 . . . I just want to hug her!
PATRICIA YARNOT:
She's adorable! 13??? She looks great! Looks like the intros went well.
