19 DECEMBER:

Luna had her water therapy
(20 minutes, 1.4 mph),
laser treatment,
and chiro adjustment
with a little time
on the magnetic mat.
I also had to get a refill
of her Tramadol.

Luna has figured out the perimeter around the yard
where the dogs won't go due to the invisible fence.
If she wants a ball all to herself, or she just wants to lie out and not be bugged,
she'll go closer to the physical fence.
Britta especially gives the invisible fence a wide berth (15 feet),
even though she could get about two feet from it,
so it makes a nice quiet zone for Luna when she gets tired,
and she can still enjoy the yard.

30 DECEMBER
LUNA'S X-RAYS:

Dr. Garrett took another set
of x-rays on Luna.
She did not sedate Luna,
so her extension
may not have been
as great as it could have been,
but she thought it was better
than when the first ones were taken,
and Luna was sedated at that time.

Dr. Garret said the inflammation in the left hip looks to be decreased,
her muscle on the legs has improved,
there appears to be a bit of arthritis along her back.
She thought the hips were lined up better,
and that the spacing around her sacroiliac was improved.
Try as I might, I don't know if I remembered everything!
She seemed pleased with Luna's progress.

At Dr. Garrett's suggestion,
we will continue with Luna's water therapy once a week for now.
Her best-case scenario is one where Luna could be placed
in the vicinity of a clinic where she can continue to do water therapy
once or twice a month.
