Find a Peanut!
It's morning! Up and at 'em. Rusty looked around as if to say, "Was I dreaming . . . or is SHE still here??". Poor baby. He was just getting used to having us all to himself. Then, along came a wild Peanut. A quick breakfast, and off to the beach.
Again! Again!
Let's just say, after running on the trails for an hour and ten minutes, we all thought we'd had enough. But Peanut had a difference of opinion . . . she was even MORE wound up than when we started.
Come on in, Rusty . . . the water's fine!
Looks as if Peanut loves to swim in the ocean as well. Now she's a salted Peanut (sorry, had to). Great! Two swimmers.
No thanks. I'll watch from here!
Although Rusty chose to sit this one out today and just watch her - he thought it might be a bit too cold perhaps.
Next, the big open run. Let's see how she does. Well she has, for the time-being, lost her "off-leash" privileges. We let her loose in a big open field and she flew right by us . . . skipping and dancing "wheeeeee!" and didn't stop running! She has a little issue with ignoring us when we call her. Actually, I suppose it's we who have the issue . . . she just does what she does. We call her and call her, and she simply stops and stares at us as if to say, "what???". Then she keeps on running! Grrrrr.
Yes, that's a blurry Peanut in the distance.
We have some work to do there. Treats were of no interest to this girl either. She tricked us. This happened after quite a bit of practice with the long lead. Rusty comes right back to us when we call him. He was completely baffled by her actions. At one point, he even tried to run next to her and push on her to herd her our way. It took some doing, but we finally caught her.
Aww, do we have to leave the beach so soon?
