5 DECEMBER Sue tells us

This morning I had an unexpected email from Frantisek, the vet who is caring for Enzo and who will transport him next Sunday from Brno in Czech Republic to Vienna in Austria. I had written to him last week for some reassurance that all is proceeding smoothly with the final & critical Quarantine protocols prior to departure.

Frantisek writes:

Hi Sue

thanks for your thanks and your warm words; all is ok with Enzo departure procedures sometime. I hope it will be future also. Excuse me so my answers and mails are so late. I have not very free time and chatting & mailing is not my hobby. I will write you after returning from Vienna and send you photo of Enzo in Vienna.

Have a good day, many regards from raining Brno - Frantisek

Now, is that good news or is that good news? or even better, splendid news????

Happydancing in Oz, with only SEVEN days to go. And I can't wait to see that photo!!!

LIBBY KARIER:

My nails are about chewed "to the quick" as it were; yours must be down to your knuckles!

All toes, paws, fingers, eyes & ears crossed here in sending extra strong Airezen to Enzo over these next few days.

Libby & Molly (clicking their heels together for Enzo and saying "there's no place like home; there's no place like home")

Sue continues:

Last week I announced that Mareike Kuypers was the winner of the incentive prize for reaching $2500AUD in Enzo's Raffle. She will receive a signed copy of Emma's Journey very soon.

Then in a sudden leap, with a donation from our Airedale Terrier Club of Victoria (Australia), we almost reached the $3000AUD mark. Simultaneously Maureen Scott popped us over the line and she becomes the winner of the Arctic Aire Recycled Dale, donated by Jan Williams & Jackie McGuinness. Thank you to all of you, with all our hearts.

Because we 'bypassed' the incentive prizes for $2600, $2700, $2800 & $2900, I am going to pick some random winners from those who have already bought tickets. I will put all the names in a hat and Ascha will pick them out. She is very adept at this.

As soon as she tells me who her winners are, we'll post them to the lists and the prizes will be on their way. Keep watching!

The Enzo Raffle will be drawn at the very moment of his touchdown in Melbourne, in seven days time. 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, 12 December 2006.

Seven days to go . . . seven days left for the chance to win the Emma's Journey Wallhanging, or the Emma's Journey Limited Edition print, or the custom-made Hippy Dippy Doggie Coats.

And now because it's way after midnight in Oz and I am dddddrrrrooopppping . . . I'm off to bed!

G'nite folks - and keep watching for Enzo news. I've got another piece to share but the lights are being turned off here. You'll have to tune in tomorrow.

I'm going to dream up some more Enzo-Incentives. Maybe we can get close to $4000AUD!
