DAY TWO FOR ENZO

Our boy is doing fine despite the heat - a bit huffy puffy but we're keeping him as cool as we can. This morning we had an early breakfast out under the trees and he loved it. Most of the past three hours or so, he's been lying beside me in the office, quite content & very calm, and I think his dreams are sweet.
There is no doubt that HE is sweet. I'm quite amazed at the easy way he's settling into Wombat Bend, and he's completely relaxed with his three new friends - hey, c'mon Enzo, let's show you a bit more of Wombat Bend.
I've an appointment with our vet this afternoon, and will then have a better idea of all his medical needs.
A thousand thank yous for all the emails you've all sent to Enzo overnight. He says he really does love FanMail but his Press Secretary is a bit on the slow side. She, on the other hand, asks for your patience and to please accept our collective gratitude!

Dear Enzo, We know you are in dog heaven right now. Your Auntie Sue & Uncle Bill are angels; make sure you give them extra kisses. And in turn, they'll give you kisses & ear rubs from Auntie Libby & Uncle Garry in the US of A. You are loved, sweet boy, by people around the world. Enjoy your time with the aire-angels Aerem & Ascha (kisses to them both); we hope your time with A-Chester also is good. He's a good boy at heart - we send kisses, and a paw in the eye, to him as well. Molly sends a paw slap, but from your pictures, we think one of your pawslaps probably equals four of hers. Enjoy your time at WB; it won't be long before your little girl has her arms around your neck again and then "heaven&quuot; won't even be enough to describe the feeling. We wish you sweet nap dreams & sweet night dreams; but it can't get much sweeter than the life you're living now.

KRISTINE THOMASON: Somebody please tell me that I am not the only one who cried when I read "I'm Home". It is such a great soul-touching story I read it with a full smile on my face with tears dropping off my cheeks. I am so happy for Enzo & Wombat Bend; and Sue, Boy you are something else! You are a Champion above all with many helpers all over the world, literally. I will be first in line to buy the book, see the play, or catch the movie. However, in the meantime we have the story right here in our computers and now deeply in our hearts.
Looking forward to the next chapter of The Aire in Enzo and his Adventures.
MARIE KORTA: This is such a happy day for the Airedale lovers' chain of hearts. Bill & Sue are the BEST! Rose & Reilly are jumping up & down with all four paws off the ground! Hmmmm . . . they sure would love a chance to do a little diggin' and check out those ground dwellers down under!
