On 15 August, Sue reports: I have just spent an hour checking through travel stuff for Enzo. I am learning that, if we can find a person to accompany Enzo from Vienna to Oz, we will get a better price for human & dog as baggage than if we bring him out as one-way cargo. I've got our Flight Centre people here checking out prices. Keep paws xxxx'd. Anyone want a paid-for Vienna-Oz-Vienna ticket? Have spoken with Atia this morning, giving her updates including the above, and she came up with the bright idea that the vet who is looking after Enzo in CR, might be persuaded to come out to Oz as his flight-minder, stay a few days and then go back home. It would assure his safety (and my peace of mind) to have someone taking full responsibility for him, especially if stopover required. We are looking at KLM as a likely aireline. Funnier things have happened. The flight out is the one area of special concern to me, I know of some horror stories and I do NOT want anything to happen to Enzo.
