On 18 August, Sue writes: The past three weeks have been a bit topsy turvy. I had an unplanned spell in hospital (which frightened the wits out of Bill) with suspected meningitis, and as a reward for not hopping over the Bridge, my darling husband took the three As & meon a little bit of R&R to a glorious beachside cottage which was ours for three days & nights . . . it was blissful.
