On 16 August, Sue writes:

I knew last night when I wrote about Enzo - our beautiful & precious traveller as Paul Diggins has called him - to the lists that this morning would bring a flood of emails from all around the world. Enzo is as much a part of your collective hearts as he is of mine.

Thank you, thank you, more than I can ever (still) express. The instant responses that once again continue to give us strength cannot be measured, because they come from a limitless world of love and as before, bind us together in one common vision - to keep Enzo safe.

I spoke today with the Natural Vet Clinic in Sydney and an appointment is being made for Atia & Enzo to have a consultation with Dr Fougere early next week.

I have no doubt that this is the right path to take, and with the power of Airezen flowing into Enzo, once again we will strive for his wellbeing. I will of course keep you updated.

Please accept my personal gratitude to each of you for your prayers & thoughts for beloved Enzo. Once again you saw his dear face, his beautiful eyes & his XXXXX-sized paws that we all love so well.

Thank you all - I think you know how much it means.

Sue, Atia & Enzo

MAREIKE KUYPERS:

My greatest fear was that we would get such news while he was in transit. Every day I worried that he wouldn't actually make it to Australia. I am extremely grateful that Enzo, Atia & Maia had a wonderful reunion and they have had some happy months with him.

I wanted to help with treatments to keep him comfortable for however long that can happen. I was glad that the vet was not pushing for surgeries. I thought perhaps further separation from his people for surgeries might just take him. I think the focus needs to be on keeping him feeling comfortable (and more importantly) safe until it is clear it is time to say good-bye.

Then we can only hope that Atia will recognize this as a gift to her beloved boy & Maia will understand (through her mom.) Children learn a lot about love & loss through their relationships with critters.

MARIE CHIZMAR:

Sending much love & prayers to you all, if our prayers worked before, they will do it again . . . .

Be strong!

SHAUNA & XENA:

Tons of Zen coming to Enzo from Saskatchewan.

Enzo & his amazing journey have been so touching. We have all been inspired for his amazing trek; I am so saddened by this news and am thinking & praying for him and all those involved. I am so thankful he is back with his loving family for this difficult time. I am sure it is the best comfort he could have.

RUSTY & CREW:

LIBBY KARIER & MOLLY:

What horrible news after all the heartache . . . and joy . . . of the past year.

We are keeping all fingers & toes crossed; sending Zen by the boatload; and keeping our thoughts focused on Enzo and the discussion with the alternative vet.

DEANNA RENOVA-VICK & ROXY, JACK & SCOUT:

Oh Sue! Noooooooo! Not Enzo! Well, not anyone, but hasn't that family been through enough?? I am so broken-hearted to hear this. I thought surely they had their happy ending and Enzo would live happily into his old age with his beloved Hoomans.

I will certainly pray for the little guy as well as for the family.

I think the alternative medicine sounds like the best approach.

Hugs from Idaho, USA.

QUANSA'S NANNY:

This is so VERY unfair . . . I join the forces sending Zen. Enzo deserves much more.

HOLLY & GINGER:

I have been trying to catch up on what I have missed this last month by my being away. I haven't written much in the past year due to being so busy but I have read most of the e-mail and have shared the joy & tears of my fellow members.

I am so sorry to hear of the many losses we have had; all make my heart ache. However, this news of Enzo has me sitting here angry & in tears. I know I am not the one to decide what is just in life but this seems so unfair. We all have shared so much with this boy, he is part of us and to hear this prognosis is shattering. I am sending as much AireZen as I possibly can; if a miracle is possible now is the time.

BOBBI PROCYK:

It was with great sadness that I read about Enzo. I also saw your post of today about the appointment with the alternative physician. I am hoping & praying that it will at least give lots of time for Enzo to be with his family some more.

Enzo has been a very strong boy up this point. He got through that year and the long trip, and the months at your house with great strength as only an Airedale can do - and now perhaps he will surprise everyone again.

Unfortunately, he isn't a youngster. But I am sure he has the fortitude that Goldie of the Golden Mountains has . . . itıs tough to keep an Airedale down.

I am glad that you got to go to Sydney at the right time to accompany him & Atia for the testing and you were able to spend some quality time with him. It was wonderful you were there at that time.

Enzo:

We are sending AireZen from Schenectady, NY. Keep a positive happy attitude, help your body to heal itself.

Sue:

AireZen to you as well, we are thinking of you both and wish the best.

AireZen . . . AireZen . . . AireZen

LORI TAYLOR:

Just wanted you to know that my thoughts & prayers are with Enzo & all of you. God bless you for your love & devotion to the fine gent! All the AireZen I have is coming down to Enzo. Thanks for the update(s).

Sending loads of Airedale Zen for Enzo & his family from Myst, Ticketyboo & Saxon

Anim

MICK & IRENA & ZIPPER & MR. BINGLEY:

We were really sorry to read about Enzo's problem and all of us here really wish the best for him - he's a fighter (like all Airedales) and we are thinking of him and hoping he pulls through . . . .
