JAN WILLIAMS, of ALASKA AIREDALE RESCUE came up with a great idea. Perhaps some of you might like to drop an email to the people who are involved with Enzo's present care and who are helping to get him home from Czech Republic.

Simona Mikulikova is looking after Enzo at present, and has promised Atia she will assist in whatever ways she can. She is a breeder of Black Russian Terriers, and lives about 20km from Brno, where Enzo was. He is now in her 'five-star-paw' home, and is relaxed & happy & eating well.

Simona does not read or speak English, but her best friend Natalie does, and will translate. If you would like to write a short note to her, click HERE.

I think she would be amazed to receive notes about Enzo from our worldwide Airedale family.

Helmut Bogner in Vienna, Austria, is taking care of organising Enzo's flight details and will be the person caring for him at the time of his departure from Vienna. Helmut speaks & writes perfect English; to email him, click HERE.

I have told him about the Airedale world family too and I know he would be very happy to hear from anyone.

Oh, and one more . . . Atia has JUST gotten email, so she would be thrilled to pieces to hear from you all; to email her, click HERE.

I will keep you updated as more Enzo-news comes in.

ELLEN McGEAGH, of ATRA (AIREDALE TERRIER RESCUE & ADOPTION):

I am so thrilled things have worked out for Enzo. Worked out due to all your caring and hard work, of course. Congrats to all for such good work for Enzo!

TAIMI HAENSEL & ULLY & PIM:

If there is anything an Airedalian family in Brazil can do to help . . . please, let us know. We will keep Enzo in our prayers.

26 AUGUST

Just had a night-time talk with Atia. It looks like we have our date for Enzo's blood draw AT LAST. This is the critical item for plotting his flight date and booking his quarantine date here in Melbourne.

I am about to write to Helmut in Vienna with the good news - 9 July, which means our 150 days (i.e., five months) starts from then. So 9 December is around the time Enzo should fly.

So, on the basis of 30 days in quarantine here in Melbourne, that brings us to 9 Jan 2007 or thereabouts. So . . . Enzo potentially COULD be in Sydney by mid-January 2007!
