From Virpi Suikkanen of Finland
The sheer level of support that constantly sustains us is the very reason Enzo WILL make the journey to OZ and into the arms of his family.
So this is a collective as well as an individual thank-you - to everyone. For the love, the care, the generosity of heart, the sheer energy that springs into action for every Airedale in need, anywhere in the world. It's not often we get a chance to reunite an Airedale & his humans in a rescue effort that transcends all boundaries, continents & hemispheres.
Little Maia goes into hospital on October 13. It's a huge operation for this tiny girl. As the Enzo'dales fly in from around the world, just picture the joy & the smiles (and perhaps a few tears) that will pour into her world and deliver a large dose of AireSupport, to light up her face, and that of Atia, her very anxious mother.
Aerem gives a kiss of reassurance
Only 69 days to go before the big bird lands, with its precious cargo - Enzo himself.
And in a few days, the gifts of Enzo'dales, big & small, for little Maia will begin to arrive here in OZ. I hope you know what a difference you are all making - just by being there.
Sue & the As, waiting at the gate for EnzoMiniMe & pals. (Hey Mum, are they here yet? are they?)
Jackie:
Doesn't it give you a nice warm feeling when we come together to help a sick or abandoned Airedale find its forever home or assist an Airedale to be reunited with its family or helped through a lengthy & oftimes expensive medical issue?
I think of us all with arms outstretched, reaching all the way round the globe, lighting up the darkest corners with our love and giving that special hug when called on and it makes me proud, nay, very proud to be part of this special community.
