FINN HAS HIS SECOND OPERATION! 1 AUGUST 2012
4 August 2012 Steph writes: Finn had surgery on his second leg on 1 August. I went to see him on Saturday, 4 August; he was moving around and went with me to walk in the parking lot, but wasn't excited about it. We walked a bit and then he wanted to lie down. 5 August 2012 I used treats to get him up and walk a little more. And repeat. 5 August 2012 Sunday was much better. He was wagging his tail and moving really well. YAHOOOOO! We are on our way to healing. 5 August 2012 There was a lot of swelling and a big bruse on the knee. The left leg is starting to get muscle. 5 August 2012 - Finn decided it was time to go in. 17 & 18 August: Finn is doing MUCH better. He was standing on his hind legs in his kennel to greet the groomer when she came back to see him and bouncing - yes, bouncing - around when I got him out. We went for a 1/2-mile walk on Saturday. 18 August 2012 18 August 2012 He is toe-touching on the newly-repaired leg. That is good until it heals better and he starts build up muscle in it.
