FINN'S FIRST REAL CHRISTMAS 25 DECEMBER 2012
Michelle writes: Finn is a busy guy and after his workouts he is really tired! He likes to cuddle with his toys and pulls them into one of the four beds he rotates sleeping on. (Much to Kirby's dismay.) Kirby always accommodates Finn on sleeping arrangements. We can really see the difference in his strength. Not much bunny-hopping anymore unless he sees dogs or horses on TV. He does steps like a champ now. I don't think he ever received wrapped gifts before. He didn't figure it out at the first opening, but by the second time around, he jumped right in. PRISCILLA LUNDBLAD: I am so happy to hear Finn has his forever home! Hugs to that sweet boy! KIM NUZZO: He is just beautiful! Great news! KATHY FALCONE: Finn is a doll! And his brother Kirby looks like a Black Russian Terrier.

More Howliday Cards can be seen HERE PADDINGTON & URSULA Here is Paddington with Ursula du Bayou, combining two of the things Paddington loved: waiting for Ursula's orders . . . and sitting in a chair. Paddington came to us as a Rescue from a Petland store in Dunwoody, Georgia. He had bi-lateral hip dysplasia, but we didn't know this until he threw out his hips at four months of age. We consulted with an orthopedic veterinary surgeon in Peachtree City, south of Atlanta, as this vet is the inventor and holds the patent to one of the pieces they put in when correcting hip dysplasia. He did not recommend surgical intervention, but to put Paddington on plenty of supplements and wait & see. This we did and added a raw diet. We never did need to do surgery, just make sure that Paddington didn't overdo stops & starts when running after his beloved tennis balls. I think what also helped was that Paddington was a follower, while our Ursula du Bayou was Alpha with an A, and a strict taskmaster who held Paddington totally under her paw. Ursula was rather slow-moving (heart disease) and set the pace. Paddington eventually took Rimadyl daily, but lived a full life and reached nearly 10 years of age, when a fast-moving cancer took its toll. 	She is NOT impressed.
