GRIFF RETURNS TO WISCONSIN AUTUMN 2013

On 6 August 2013, Barbara unexpectedly crossed The Rainbow Bridge [read her In Memoriam HERE]. ATRA offered to take Griff back into rescue and find him a new home. Remember Curly Sue, the Airedale left tied to a tree in a Kenosha park, back in August 2012? [You can read her story HERE.] Curly Sue & Griffin James: She looks so sweet, but he has a retriever roll and she's just looking to steal it. Well, Griff moved in with her and her humans, Jill & Troy Springborn. As a foster dog, of course. And we know how THAT goes . . . . . Griff is now a member of the Springborn Pack. Jill writes: Griff brings out a different side of Curly. They take pleasure in playing tug with stuffies, killing them. When he came here he was totally terrified. I've never seen a dog that bad before. Thank goodness for Curly; he looks to her for reassurance. He's is terrified of the microwave. All that travelin' has made me tired . . . can I rest in my Forever Home now?
