The next day, Jan writes:
Harry had an Easter outing.
He went to meet the people who sent his new family to me.
He met their dogs - two Airedales & two Kerry Blues.
It all went well and Harry will be able to go on walks this summer
with these dogs and the rest of their dog-walking group.
Harry is making new friends.

MARY GIESE:
What happy news about Harry! And getting a new forever home
for his birthday takes the cake - and the icing!
Jan, Bounty & Pepper reply:
Thanks to everyone for the nice comments & good wishes for Harry.
I have been promised photos and updates by his new family.
I will pass them on to Andréa for his site as they come in.
Not only did Harry get a great home,
his people got a great addition to their family.
I have to admit, I had my doubts that anyone
would be interested in a dog Harry's age.
It reminded me that you can't give up looking for a home
for these guys just because they are seniors.
