I got a call from Karen this afternoon stating that Dolly was not herself, not eating, not drinking. She got her to her vet this afternoon. They think she has the flu but Karen is to monitor her and let them know tomorrow of changes. They also aspirated a lump on her side that appeared to bother her when touched. Karen had noted that she never laid on that side and figured it hurt her that much. That will also be monitored.

Isn't Dolly a little cutie! Today all three were outside and they each had a ball and started to play together. Dolly is interacting with Dylan & Katie and getting them to do things they never did together before. It is so much fun to watch them.

We are still working on potty training. I think there has been a little progress but I don't think it has really sunk in yet. Next Saturday she has an appointment with Linda for a bath & a little grooming. She is getting better when I use the clipper; she is not running away when I turn it on.
On our walks, she is heeling really well and her sits are improving. Now I have to teach her that when I say sit in the house, it is the same thing.
Meet Chris Olson, owner of Applewood Kennels in Shawano, Wisconsin, who has given so much of her time to caring for Farmer Mike's castoffs. With the dogs being ill, classes at the kennels had to be canceled, and then her own dogs became ill, too! So GIVE THANKS to Chris & John . . . without them, ATRA could not have been able to take in so many all at once and cared for them all during their illness!
Oh, look! An Airedale in a small dog suit!
