Cheyenne does live up to her name, "Shy Ann" (I now call her Shy). She has been at Camp Lackner (foster home) for approximately two weeks now and we have learned she is a sweetheart, but fearful of everything. Shy will probably be a "work in progress" for her entire life. She is frightened by doorways, furnace noise, the answering machine . . . you get the idea.
She prefers to eat in her crate, and she finds her crate for a comfort zone on a regular basis. We currently leave a long lead on her when she is outside in our fenced-in yard. She is afraid to come inside so it is easier to get close to her with the lead. She really doesn't know how to play with other dogs or toys, but we are working on all of those things. She loves one-on-one attention and gives out butterfly kisses as a thank you.
Shy Ann is spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, crate-trained, housebroken & microchipped. She will need a home with LOTS of patience, love & acceptance of her quirks. A fenced yard is a must, as is another dog to help her along and to make her feel comfortable. If you feel you have the ideal home for this little rescue and would welcome a "work in progress", please contact me HERE
