NOW PLAYING: WATERMARK Enya ANNIE CROSSES THE RAINBOW BRIDGE 27 DECEMBER 2015 Paula writes: Our Annie Puppy Hair crossed the Rainbow Bridge this morning at 8:30. She started failing three weeks ago, not eating or only eating small morsels and then not eating and only drinking water. I think she knew Jim & I had off from work for a few days and she knew we would walk with her to the Bridge. We celebrated our 27th wedding anniversary staying with her, sleeping on the floor and taking turns to take care of the other guys. She was born September 15, 2004, one of the breeding mamas at what was dubbed Farmer Mike's. Our rescue picked up Cheyenne on October 6, 2009. Her original name was Cheyenne and she lived up to her name. She was very shy, too shy to be an Airedale. So we started calling her Annie when she was our foster girl. We added Puppy Hair later on as she never lost the puppy hair on the bridge of her nose. She was one of the many that have graced our home but she stayed permanently. She will remain permanently in our hearts even though they are truly shattered today. The pain is inconsolable. Godspeed, Annie RAINBOW BRIDGE Just this side of Heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine and our friends are warm and comfortable. All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing: they each miss someone very special, someone who was left behind. They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. Her bright eyes are intent; her eager body begins to quiver. Suddenly, she breaks from the group, flying over the green grass, faster and faster. You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into those trusting eyes, so long gone from your life, but never absent from your heart. Then you cross the Rainbow Bridge together . . . Author Unknown THE 3 MUDDERS' BENEFACTORS INCLUDE . . .
