Such a HAPPY guy! It's Herschel & Aunt Judi! Sidney writes: Sherry sent some photos. Her friend Judi is moving to Texas and visited with Herschel before she left. Sherry & Judi spent a couple of hours with him. That is pure mischief there . . . about to take a little nibble out of Aunt Judi's hand. Sherry writes: The clinic wants to thank all of you for sending checks to them. The money goes for Herschel's physical therapy, food, care, airecuts, medicine, medical . . . it all goes to Herschel. Herschel goes home with Dr. Simpson every night except when she is on call. She said he is doing very well and can't imagine a world without Herschel . . . well, that's an Airedale for ya, huh!? Taking a little rest . . . Judi & Sherry spent two hours with Herschel Looks like Herschel is not happy about Aunt Judi moving to Texas
Dr. Simpson works with him four days a week on physical therapy. This is the leg that had so many surgeries . . . the muscle is almost non-existent. He does walk on his own on all four legs, slowly; otherwise, he bunny-hops on that leg. This is what Herschel's back legs look like when he stands about half the time. The back right leg is still weak.
