On 7 September, the news is good:
Meghan continues to improve. She sits & lies down slowly but with confidence. Her pains meds are decreasing daily. She is allowed to walk on her own in the yard with the lead attached and Foster Mom close by. She got on the bed and took a nap and when it was time to get off the bed, Foster Mom helped her off.

10 September: Meghan is moving to a new foster home today.
|
Her incision is amazingly well-healed.

18 October:
Meghan is in her FOREVER HOME!! She has been pain-free for three weeks. We want her to lay low for another three weeks to be on the safe side. At her Foster Mom's she was running up & down the stairs with a big goofy smile on her face. She is such a people dog and has been an absolute pleasure to help these past few months. |
