OSCAR GETS A BATH (FINALLY!)

Oscar & I took a trip to the vet yesterday . . . we got those pesky staples out, and got a blood test, thyroid, pee & poop test and a wellness exam. The vet gave him a 100% clean bill of health! YAY! Such great news. Now it's just a matter of getting him some training.
Tonight he got his bath, finally! He was not smelling so good after being on bath restriction, which I know was fine with him, but we were counting the days to the bath time.
He is doing very well in the house with us and his training is going well. He's sitting long now and has started learning "shake" pretty well. "Stay" is a work in progress at this point, but he can "stay" for a little bit as long as a treat is involved. He loves the veggie-pumpkin-yogurt-milk-egg & cottage cheese ice cube treats we have made up for our dogs that are RAW fed. We turn all that into a purée in the food processor to about a ketchup consistency and then pour into ice trays, and he LOVES them!
He and Amos are playing well. Amos has done "Aire Snaps" at him from the couch and from the bed a few times in the beginning, but I put a quick stop to that and from there they have been "peas in a pod" . . . so it's going well.
He seems to have put on a little bit of weight, but not quite enough yet; we are working on that by mixing in RAW mooseburger with his dog food, I just knead it in like kneading dough, getting it well mixed and he loves it. I don't intend to switch him to my dogs' diet because it would be wrong to assume that his forever home will RAW feed and I don't want him to dislike regular food and have issues with eating. But mixing a little in seems to be really firming up his poop real well and getting some meat on those bones of his.
Here are some pics of his bath; it's just so hard to resist those big cute eyes.
