JONAH CROSSES
THE RAINBOW BRIDGE

9 FEBRUARY 2011

Late in the evening, Jan Wiles writes:

Frances has been notified by her vet the the little "runt" male, whom we have named JONAH and who had spent so much time in the birth canal, has died. Despite the valiant effort of the staff, a decision was made to stop resuscitation due to a lack of response from the pup. This had been Frances' worry after watching the struggle he had being born. I tried to reassure her that this often happens as nature tries to compensate for unknown factors.

On 10 February morning, Frances writes:

I just spoke to Shelly, one of the Aire Angels at the vet clinic. She had little Jonah with her all day yesterday and was planning to take him home last night, when he passed right before the clinic closed. There are so many Aire Angels out there who look out for the small and helpless . . . .

Gr

JACKIE McGUINNESS:
The poor little boy; at least he was born into a warm clean environment and although his time on earth was short, he was loved by many as he was welcomed into the hearts of his special ADT rescue family. We will look for that bright little star in the sky.

Gr

BOB ANDERSON:
Blessings to the little guy . . . Jonah will be welcomed as he crosses the Rainbow Bridge!

Gr

MARE MOORE:
Awwwww, I'm so sorry to hear this sad news! Nature is wise in ways we humans cannot always comprehend and I guess she had other plans for wee Jonah (sigh). At least for the short while he was here on this earth, he got to know just how loving & gentle the human hand really can be. Rest easy, little one; be at peace.

HAMISH CROSSES
THE RAINBOW BRIDGE

11 FEBRUARY 2011

On 11 February, Frances writes:

We lost another little boy puppy.
I christened him "Hamish" after my dear special needs
Airedale who passed a couple of summers ago.

Gr

BRENDA ISAACS:
As I sit here reading this, I have tears running down my face. No matter how hard we try to save our little ones, it is never easy to watch them go the Bridge. Please send my condolences to them and my heartfelt thanks for helping these babies.

Gr

CHUCK RUSK:
So sorry to hear about the loss of another Aire baby.

Gr

BOB ANDERSON:
Hamish will have Jonah waiting for him at the Rainbow Bridge and oh, how the boys will romp! Much AireZen to all the pups and their Mom.

RAINBOW BRIDGE FOR ORPHANS

At Rainbow Bridge it has been said departed pets, who have been dearly loved by owners in life, play and wait in meadows. When they hear their loved ones call, they rush to meet them and they cross Rainbow bridge together, never to be parted again.

What has not been told is the fate of the orphans, the strays, the unloved, abused or neglected fur babies who also play in the meadows and wait for someone to call their name and cross over The Bridge with them.

In life these fur babies had no special person to love and care for them. And even though they may have been beaten, kicked, starved or otherwise abused or neglected, their hearts are only full of love and forgiveness!

Every time one of these special ones sees a human soul, they too become excited, hoping maybe this will be the person who will love them and take them across the bridge. Sometimes their wait seems long, But suddenly one hears her name being called. Startled, heart beating wildly, she looks in the direction of the voice. All fear and sadness depart and she runs eagerly to meet her new loved one.Tears and licks, hugs and nudges abound.

The person who has called her name also was unloved, abused or neglected in life. Now they both have found purity of unconditional love that was missing in life, and together they cross over the Rainbow Bridge.
