PEPPER HAS A SPA DAY

Pepper had her spa day today.
It all started off pretty normal.
I knew she wouldn't be
too fond of the whole procedure;
I stayed to help and take a few photos.
Some of the really long hair was
clipped off before the washing started.
Pepper wasn't overjoyed with it,
but she wasn't too bad.

The washing part wasn't too bad either.
For the drying part things got a lot worse.
She has one back leg that she doesn't like having touched.
It doesn't seem to be injured, but it may have been in the past.
Notice I didn't get any photos of this part of the spa day.
Pepper had to wear a muzzle and was pretty ornery about it.
I had my hands full.
I WILL get my revenge . . .

Here she is dried & clipped as good as could be
with her leaping around & growling.

It wasn't a good idea for her face to be worked on without the muzzle,
so there is still some work to do.
I didn't want her taken down close because of the awful weather we are having.
I think her trim came out pretty good considering
she wasn't too happy about the whole thing.
Home at last!
Pffffft! You didn't get to trim my face - hehehe!

I may not have liked the spa day,
but I sure am happy about how I look!

You get me all spiffed up and put me back in the cage??
I think the ladies at the Dog House did a nice job,
considering the cooperation (or lack thereof) on Pepper's part.
They were very kind & gentle, even when Pepper wasn't.
She did better than I thought she would for most of the process,
but when she thought it should be over, she threw a tantrum.
At least now I know what's under all that hair.
