The beach is Rhosneiger on the Island of Anglesey, North Wales. The picture was one of many taken on one of our holidays last year. Rufus is the one with all feet off the ground with Meg waiting to intercept him on landing. He is soooo funny when he runs, especially if HE THINKS Meg is chasing him, he does not really have any control over his legs.
Meg is on the left and her daft brother on the right. They are really both such characters, but Meg is the hunter, she will chase anything that runs . . . Rufus is very laid back, and basically lazy but loveable.
Meg is five years and a few months and Rufus is four in February. They are Full Brother and Sister; their line is Stanstead/Doraemi and their pedigree is full of Champions. We have been told by Airedalers who know that Meg would make a wonderful show dog, but to us they are pets, we want them to have a fun-filled, happy life and just be Airedales; we don't really have any plans of showing them.
Beach picture once again. Rufus being chased by Meg, this time on beach at Bamburgh, Northumberland. Fiona usually takes the pictures and time and time again manages to catch an unusual moment.
FIRST SNOW DECEMBER 2009
Rufus on the left this time.
Anyone who would like to ask anything else or would like to comment, we would be happy to hear from them
