I'm sure you're seeing a theme here . . . . . . if it's bright pink, buy it! Click on the pic for more details on the CURCUMA ALISMATIFOLIA, a/k/a Siam Tulip This is a CURCUMA ALISMATIFOLIA, a member of the GINGER family . . . At this time, they only seem to be available in two colors: Hot Pink and White. Of course I took the Hot Pink. They were on sale for $12.98; Lowes had them for $20. Speaking of the GINGER family, I remembered that I'd bought a ginger plant years ago (because the leaves were light pink variegated), and then did nothing with it. So I found it . . . . . . a little worse off for having been ignored for several years, but still alive. So I pruned and repotted it . . . . . . and we'll see if it thrives, now that there is another member of its family nearby.
