REPOTTING JACKIE I'S "WALMART WAIF" 10 JULY 2023

Some days after Christmas 2019, Jackie brought to me a poor Christmas cactus that never went home for the holidays, just left to dry out on the shelf. This is what I wrote on THIS PAGE: Jackie, knowing that I miss rescuing poor neglected Cairns and bringing them back to health and a normal life, brought me this poor neglected Christmas Cactus to nurture back to health . . . The few shriveled-up blooms were a deep red; I cleaned it up, gave it food & water and now it is basking in fresh air & sunlight. It'll be interesting to see what it looks like by next Christmas. At Christmas 2020, it looked like this . . . In 2021, the Walmart Waif bloomed like this . . . And in 2022, I wrote on THIS PAGE: You can see from this pic how many buds still have to open . . .
