MORTIE GOES HOME 29 FEBRUARY 2008

On 2 March, Shell Lewis writes: Lisa Bernstein & husband Steve Saylors are the greatest couple. They had a "chock full o' issues" little terrier mix named Buddy who passed away two years ago and they just weren't ready for another dog . . . until they saw Mortie online. They filled out the application together and were besides themselves when Alex Ledbetter called to speak with them that very day. I did their home visit and they are such a down-to-earth, charming couple with lots of love to give. Lisa is a special ed teacher who works with eight-graders so she has lots of patience.
