WHY we need a new garage door . . . As with the toilet, this came with the house; installed in 1961, when the house was built

The garage door was delivered along with the fireplace (yes, a fireplace!) . . . When Kerry the Installer arrived, he said it was too tall. Luckily for us, he 'knew someone' at Menards; she delivered the correct door and took away the wrong one, WITH NO CHARGE. By this time, however, Kerry had to leave, but could come back the next day. A minor glitch. So Neal (a/k/a HandyMan) started on the Sauder bookcases, which had been delivered the previous week (this online shopping has been so much fun; no going from store to store, and everything was delivered.) It's like a giant puzzle . . . We're running out of space to work in . . . . . . and THIS is what he looks like from the OTHER side!
