THOSE )&*^$*^_(*&* WALLS
Ok, so my brilliant ideas for these two accent walls didn't work out so well.
Not to worry; I'm full of ideas . . .
When our housecleaner Michelle saw them,
she commented that we should have run a dry brush over the pearlescent paint.
Too late now, but I started thinking that a light layer of the colored paint and
then dry brushing it would let some of the pearlescent thru.
Then I saw in a painting brochure that this is called strié.
I asked Michelle if she had ever done this;
she said she saw a tv program on it once.
I said, YOU'RE HIRED!
So on Friday, 21 October, I went to the salon/spa,
while Neal & Michelle worked on the walls,
which seemed like a fair distribution of labor to me.
