When I came home, I brought a different orange paint for the Dining Room wall . . .

. . . Neal & Michelle worked on that wall, too

while Daisy watched from outside.

We STILL weren't happy with it,
but it WAS an improvement.
I then searched the internet and purchased this border . . .

. . . which will cover 10.5" of the top of the wall,
where the most obvious flaws are,
and I think it will then look PERFECT!

Back in 2004, for our TWO PARROTHEADS IN PARADISE wedding,
CyberFriend Maureen Scott in Canada sent us this tile . . .

Ph

. . . but it has never felt at home,
since the house had a pretty strong Western theme
(you know, steer skull in the dining room,
turquoise, peach and pinks in the wallpaper).
Now it is being framed to hold place of honor
in the new ParrotHead Dining Room.

Also, while clearing out a closet,
I found this puzzle . . .

Ph

. . . which I put together and is also being
framed for the dining room.
(All these years, I KNEW I would someday use it for SOMEthing!)

Other wedding gifts being used . . .
