On Sunday, 12 September, Mike the Vinyl Guy brought over the underlayment;
this meant that Neal (a/k/a VetteMan)'s Corvette
had to stand outside for several day & nights
We took one last look at how things were . . .
I bought this steer skull in Missouri, while Neal was diving Bonne Terre Mine;
it became part of the 'Western Look' we've had far too long
(we used to do a LOT of Western dancing),
and will be going to Arizona with us sometime in the future.

Originally meant to be the dining room,
this smaller room has been our living room
since we moved here in October 1986.
A pantry off the original dining room,
which we made into a stereo & storage closet.
The house had stood empty for some time,
so needed a LOT of renovation before we could move in.
Turquoise, also a part of the 'Western Theme';
stick-down tiles were meant to be temporary . . . 25 years ago
Barrister bookcase - SOLD!;
barn wall . . . would love to have an 'art-only' sale,
except for the picture of Misha & April, of course!
Kitchen was NEVER renovated or finished . . .
we traveled around the world to scuba dive & snorkel instead.
The only reason we have a kitchen is that it came with the house.
Fridge is moved out so Chrissi can get to all the dog food
she's pushed under it, the silly girl.
Kitchen remodel will be project for 2012. Maybe.
Marks on wall from dogs jumping up to greet whoever is at the front door;
carpet coordinated quite well with Airedales; not so much with Cairns.

Bathroom needs to be completely redone;
burgundy, rose & grey is so last decade, if not last century.
Daisy & Cari, Rico & Chrissi were crated outside,
in their bathroom area, during the flooring project;
if they couldn't see anyone in the house,
they were less likely to bark. In theory, anyway.
It would also be easier to let them out every few hours.
The Two Little Mothers (Rosie & Luucee) were simply
barricaded in my room for the duration;
Rosie can't run and Luuceee doesn't bark
