DINING ROOM WORKSHOP

15 NOVEMBER 2001

As cold & windy as it's been,
varnishing the patio door moldings has had to be done indoors,
and where better than on the dining room table . . .
since we don't actually DINE on it!

This little bench was primed and then painted cranberry.
In the summer, it will stand outside with plants on it.

Finally, it was time to set up the dining table . . .
Ph

The parrot candlesticks are from Lori Taylor & Ron Swisher,
for our wedding, and finally have their own display place!

I saw a t-shirt one day that read, I am distracted by shiny things.
Change shiny to glittery, and that'd be me.
Aren't these squash wonderful?
When the sun shines into that room, they sparkle.

And here are the parrots that started this theme . . .
Maureen Scott's parrot tile and my $1.00 parrot puzzle.

Ph

This will hang on the orange wall, left of the patio door
AFTER the border is put up.

Ph

We aren't sure yet where this will hang.

Ph

For now, they look nice on the dining room table.
